Welcome

Welcome to the Tiarks first ever Blog. We are hoping that this will keep you informed about our work here in Africa. We hope to update periodically with pictures along with our news updates. We welcome responses and any imput on how to make this Blog more exciting!

We are Joash and Delia Tiarks and have four children ages 8 on down. We were challenged into full time missions at the age of 20 and further challenged in 2000 specifically to Moçambique, Africa. We have been serving here for one year under New Tribes Mission sent here by several churches, mainly Bible Baptist Church, Rantoul, Illinois; Sager Creek Community Church, Sager Creek, Arkansas; Grace Community Church, Glendora, Ca.

We are desiring to share the great news of salvation from our sins by our Lord Jesus Christ with a people group here in Moçambique. Right now we are living in Nampula, Moçambique helping to start up our mission and assist our collegues that are already established in villages. We plan, Lord willing, to locate in a village by 2009.
